Project introduction
STM32-based drone firmware developed for extreme-environment research experiments, including embedded sensing and experiment integration.
Individual Project. In progress.
Problem
Extreme-environment drone experiments require firmware that connects embedded sensing, system behavior, and the experimental setup.
Requirements
Develop STM32-based drone firmware for the research platform and integrate it with the experimental aircraft.
Architecture
The firmware interfaces with the drone’s embedded sensors and outputs. The contribution is the firmware and its experiment integration.

Implementation
Individual development of drone firmware for extreme-environment research experiments. The associated research project contains the embedded implementation and experiment materials.
Technical challenges
Coordinating embedded interfaces and experiment-specific behavior while keeping the firmware testable and understandable.
Testing
The author-provided photograph documents an experimental drone with this firmware installed. Quantitative environmental qualification and private research logs are not reproduced here.
Results
Drone firmware developed and installed on the experimental platform, as confirmed by the author. The project is in progress.
Lessons learned
Firmware integration and experiment design must be evaluated together, with operating conditions and validation scope stated explicitly.
